Blueridge BR-40TCE Cutaway
Acoustic/Electric Tenor Guitar

This acoustic/electric tenor guitar is clearly based on the classic Martin 0-18T tenor guitar design and features a small "0" size 14-fret body with a soft cutaway & Fishman Sonitone pickup system installed, solid spruce top, laminated mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck, adjustable truss rod, dot-inlaid rosewood fingerboard, bound top, back & fingerboard, ornate peghead inlay, bone saddle & nut, nickel tuners, black pickguard and full gloss finish. 22-7/8" scale, 1-9/32" nut width. It comes strung with .010, .014, .022W, .032W, strings and comes tuned in 5ths (CGDA). However, these strings can be tuned like the top 4 strings of a guitar (DGBE) or the
guitar can also be tuned like an octave mandolin (GDAE) with different string gauging to optimize the string tension load. The pickup system features an undersaddle element with a sound hole
mounted preamp with volume and tone controls.
The active pick up system uses a 9V battery. The
guitars are manufactured in Asia. Click
